# In-built Roles

Some roles are already defined on the Apica Ascent platform. These are mentioned below:

#### Admin Role: <a href="#docs-internal-guid-5d3b9dfc-7fff-15c1-c2fb-661af8a67323" id="docs-internal-guid-5d3b9dfc-7fff-15c1-c2fb-661af8a67323"></a>

Provides full access to all features and resources across the platform. Typically assigned to administrators or superusers.

**Default Role:**

Grants basic access necessary for standard usage. Suitable for general users with limited permissions.

**View Only Role:**

Provides the user with read-only access.
