# Working with Source Files

TDO uses .csv files as data sources. These files can be ingested (imported) directly into TDO, can be uploaded via API(<https://docs.apica.io/platform-docs/test-data-orchestrator-tdo/user-documentation/api-guide/data-movement-apis/ingest-upload-data-files>) or can be loaded into TDO via the Test Data Extractor (TDX) tool (<https://docs.apica.io/platform-docs/test-data-orchestrator-tdo/user-documentation/user-guide-for-tdx>).

Since the second and third methods are already covered in existing documents, this document will only cover the first method, manual ingestion.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.apica.io/platform-docs/test-data-orchestrator-tdo/user-documentation/tdo-project-builder-user-guide/working-with-source-files.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
