Configure email destination

To add a new email destination for alerts, follow these steps:

  1. Click on New Alert Destination > Email.

  2. Fill in the Name of the destination.

  3. Enter the Email Address to receive notifications.

  4. Optionally, configure the Subject Template for email content. The default is Alert {alert_name} changed status to {state}. Use keywords in {} to access variables like alert_name, state, severity, alert_url, and query_url.

  5. After entering the details, click Create.

The new email destination will now be available as an option when creating or editing alerts.
